I Have Two Followers!

Originally, this was going to be a blog solely for experimentation with backgrounds, formats, etc. There were some things that I was afraid to try on my "real" blogs, so I wanted an "expendable" blog. I gave it the name I had originally wanted to give to what became Greta's Genealogy Bog - Forward Into the Past. The reason I decided against that name was that it comes from the title of a Firesign Theater album. So instead, I took the name I had accidentally given to my page on Ancestry (which had the typo "Bog" for "Blog" - but perhaps it was a Freudian slip?). The name came back to me for this blog.

But now that I see there are followers ... well ... I feel obligated to post something. And it occurred to me that I could post some things here that for various reasons I don't post on my other blogs. For instance, sometimes it is difficult to pick out just a few garden photos, but I can't put them all on what is, after all, supposed to be a genealogy blog.

And then there occasionally observations that I'm not sure I want to post on GGB, such as some of the conundrums I have faced in my genealogical research. Or maybe just a short, silly item that I'd like to post.

So, Dear Readers, this will be a "Secret Blog" - just between you, me, and the lamppost, as my Aunt Joy would say.

And if you don't care for the posts, well, you can always check in to see whether I've been experimenting with the background, again. (Don't know about you, but I can waste an entire morning playing around with backgrounds from ShabbyBlogs, Aqua Poppy, and Cutest Blog).
